About Greg's Roofing
Thirty years ago, I picked up a hammer because I had bills to pay and a family depending on me. Roofing made sense—honest work, physical, needed everywhere. Those first five years were about survival. I learned the trade by doing it, job after job, studying how water moves across a roof, where mistakes hide, and what separates work that lasts from work you apologize for two winters down the road.
Then something shifted. I realized I wasn't just fixing roofs. I was managing people's worry. A roof is what stands between a family and the weather. That changed how I thought about every nail. So I kept going. Twenty-five years ago, I formalized what had already become real—Greg's Roofing—because the work deserved to be done the right way, every time. From there, we added siding, gutters, windows, and garage doors. Each one for the same reason: because homes need them, and they need to be done right.
'Quality isn't the most expensive choice. It's the one that costs the least in the long run.'
— Greg, Owner
Quality isn't a buzzword here. It's the only option. We use products we trust because we've seen what happens when you don't. A cheap shingle doesn't just fail faster—it leaves you exposed, unprotected. We choose differently, and we expect you to understand why that matters. That's where education comes in.
Most homeowners never think about their roof until water appears in the attic. We don't just fix that leak. We explain why it happened, what options exist, what each one costs, and how long you can expect it to last. Not everyone wants that conversation, and that's fine. But the people who do—they sleep better because they know exactly what they have and why.
We learned early that a project isn't finished when we leave. It's finished when you understand what was done, why it was done that way, and what happens next. That takes time. It takes honesty. It means sometimes telling you that you don't need what you thought you needed. But it's the only way we know to build trust in Jefferson City, and trust is the only business worth staying in for 25 years.
Working with us means showing up to a crew that knows your house matters, not because it's a sale, but because every home is someone's shelter. It means getting straight answers. It means understanding exactly what you're paying for before work begins. You'll notice we ask questions about your situation, your budget, what you've experienced before. That's because roofing isn't one-size-fits-all, and neither is siding, gutters, windows, or garage doors.
If you're in Jefferson City and thinking about your roof, siding, gutters, windows, or garage doors, we'd like to talk through it with you. No pressure, no sales script. Just two people looking at your home and figuring out what makes sense. That's how we started, and that's how we've made it this far.
